ACT ORgan Donation Awareness Foundation

Capitol Chilled Foods Australia supports the ACT Organ Donation Awareness Foundation by providing free advertising space on Canberra Milk and Canberra Hilo cartons promoting this organisations organ donor’s register.

Ausdance ACT Youth Dance Festival

Canberra Milk has been a sponsor of the region’s Youth Dance Festival for over 10 years. A specially produced 300ml fresh milk carton promotes this annual event which has the biggest number of high school and college students participating of any event in the region. http://www.ausdance.org.au/

Canberra District Rugby League Referees’ Assoc

Canberra Milk/Dairy Farmers are the major sponsors for the Canberra District Rugby League Referees Association. This support contributes to the development of officials for junior and senior rugby league throughout the ACT and surrounding districts.

Cancer Council ACT

Capitol Chilled Foods Australia supports the Cancer Council ACT through support of four of its fundraising campaigns each year, Relay for Life, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Daffodil Day and Australia Breast Cancer Day. Each event is promoted on Canberra Milk cartons and product is offered to support the event.

Gungahlin Bulls Rugby League Club

Canberra Milk is a major sponsor of the Gungahlin Bulls who field a number of sides in junior and senior local rugby league competitions.

Healthy Bones Week

Canberra Milk, the Incredible Gulp and Coon Cheese are the major sponsors of health promotions activities coordinated by Arthritis ACT for Healthy Bones Week. In 2002, over 8,000 children received a free calcium enriched breakfast including milk, yoghurt and cheese to promote the importance of a nutritious calcium rich breakfast to reduce the impact of osteoperosis in later life.

Kangaroos (AFL) Football Club

Capitol Chilled Foods Australia have supported the Kangaroos and their Australian Football League (AFL) matches in Canberra since they commenced in 2001. CCFA’s support provides for the free junior clinics that are held for school children. http://www.kangaroosfc.com.au/

Primary After School Sports Program

Canberra Milk is the major sponsor for the Primary After School Sports Program run for local primary school children. This program encourages children to develop their skills, confidence, friendships and a healthy lifestyle by learning the basic skills and ethics of a variety of sports in a safe, non-competitive and enjoyable environment.

Queanbeyan Tigers Australian Footbal Club

Dairy Farmers contribute significantly to major and minor agricultural shows nationally. Stop Revive Survive Apex Club of Tuggeranong ACT

Over the last 10 years Capitol Chilled Foods Australia have supported the Apex Stop Revive Survive on the Monaro Highway by providing free Canberra Milk for tea and coffee. The site provides motorists with a place to stop and rest with a free tea or coffee at the half way point between Sydney and the NSW snowfields. It operates every weekend of the ski season and is officially recognised as part of the RTA's Snow Safe campaign. Donations collected at the site from grateful travellers are passed on by Tuggeranong Apex to a number of local and national charities thanks to the generosity of sponsors like Capitol Chilled Foods Australia.
